"How much does Reformer Pilates actually cost?" is one of the most common questions we get before someone books their first class – and it's a fair one, since pricing varies a lot between London studios. Here's exactly what it costs at KY Pilates in Shoreditch, with real, current figures rather than a vague "contact us for pricing."
Starting out: the Intro Trio
New to KY Pilates? The Intro Trio is £49 for 3 classes, valid for 1 month, with equipment provided and all levels welcome. It's built specifically so you can try the studio properly – three sessions, not one – before deciding whether to commit to a package or membership.
Drop-in and class packages
If you'd rather pay as you go after your intro offer, there are three options: a single Drop-In class at £28 with no contract, a 4-class pack at £80 (valid 1 month, no roll-over), and an 8-class pack at £155 (also valid 1 month, no roll-over). These suit clients who want flexibility over a fixed monthly commitment, or who are training around an unpredictable schedule.
Red Light Reformer
Our Red Light Reformer – a 50-minute Reformer workout under red and near-infrared light panels, with protective eyewear provided – is priced separately at £45 for a single pass, valid for 1 month. See our Red Light Reformer guide for what the session actually involves.
Monthly memberships
For anyone training regularly, memberships work out cheaper per class than packages:
- KY Core 5 – £95/month for 5 classes a month.
- KY Core 10 – £165/month for 10 classes a month (our most popular plan).
- KY Club – £225/month for unlimited classes, plus 10% off studio retail items and a complimentary monthly Red Light Reformer session.
All memberships carry a minimum 2-month commitment; after that, you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice by email, or hold your membership if you need a break.
What's included at every price point
Whichever option you choose, all Reformer equipment is provided at no extra cost, and there's a water refill station in studio. Grip socks aren't included in the class price – we sell them in studio if you don't already own a pair, along with a small range of other retail items (KY Club members get 10% off). Lockers are available; we don't currently have showers on site, though the studio's Shoreditch location means there are plenty of nearby options if you're coming from work.
Which option makes sense?
As a rough guide: if you're not sure Reformer Pilates is for you yet, start with the Intro Trio. If you know you want to train but aren't ready for a monthly commitment, a class pack is the flexible middle ground. If you're planning to train weekly or more, a membership brings the per-class cost down significantly compared to paying as you go.
